Careers at
LevelHire

We're building the agentic ATS for startups. The system that quietly does the work of a senior hiring team — sourcing, screening, evaluating, scheduling, onboarding — so founders can stop guessing and start hiring on signal.

Yes, we eat our own dog food. Every LevelHire hire goes through LevelHire's evaluation. If we built it to predict on-the-job performance, it has to predict ours first.

Remote-first team. Mexico City + Austin time zones. All roles evaluated with LevelHire.

§0202Culture

How we work.

/01

Bias for the agentic path.

If a workflow can be coordinated by an agent, we coordinate it by an agent. Humans approve the decisions that need judgment; the rest is automation we can audit.

/02

Default to evidence.

We do not make decisions on vibes. Every product call ships with the data that supported it; every hire ships with the evaluation that backed it.

/03

Write like a senior engineer.

Short, specific, no hedging. Code, docs, Slack — the bar is the same. Comments only when the why is non-obvious.

/04

Move at startup speed.

We ship daily. We talk to customers weekly. We do not run away from hard problems; we shrink them until they fit in a week.

§0303Open roles

What we look for.

We don't have a public job board today. The team is small and every hire moves the bar. We are quietly looking for the following profiles:

Founding Engineer

Full-stack. Comfortable across Next.js, Postgres + RLS, and AI agents. Ships from idea to prod in days.

Actively hiring

AI Engineer · Agents

Prompt design, evaluation harnesses, cost monitoring. Has shipped agentic systems in production.

Actively hiring

Founding Designer

Editorial sensibility. Cares about typography and rhythm. Can ship to production in Next.js / Tailwind.

Building network

Solutions / Sales Engineer

Bilingual EN/ES. Loves talking to founders. Has sold technical SaaS to early-stage startups.

§0404Process

How hiring works here.

01

You introduce yourself by email. One paragraph: what you have built, why this company, what role.

02

We send you a LevelHire evaluation calibrated to the role. Real context, not LeetCode. ~90 minutes.

03

If the evaluation clears, we book a 60-minute conversation with the founder. Two-way: we tell you what we are doing; you tell us what you would build.

04

Offer or no offer in 5 business days. If no, you keep your LevelHire candidate report (the same one a paying customer would get).
